Hi Guys.... I just started collecting Marvel Statues last Dec. 30, 2008, SS Thor Premium Format as my first and from then on... I got hooked... arent we all? heheh

And this Insanely statue collecting hobby even triggered me back to Photography again....

Lastly... Im an avid fan of Bowen, Sideshow and "Proudly -----" FBS (Fat Boy Studio) Masterpieces.

Thanks for identifying the Human Torch for me. Would you mind telling me more about its scale or perhaps post some other pics of him with other statues such as the Surfer or Red Phoenix? I'm not interested in the rest of the DST FF diorama, so I'm wondering how the Torch would fit with other statues. I know his pose would pose some issues, but there might be a way to make it work. PM me if you'd like.

Hi again Randyf...

This DST Human Torch is "almost" same scale as my Bowen Iceman in which I myself was shocked when I put them together. Imagine Iceman is 6'0 footer and Human Torch is just only 5'8 (hope you are getting my point) :)

And you are right! this DST Human Torch is kinda hard to put together with my other Bowen scaled statues bec. of its unusual pose. Fortunately, I managed to solve this problem.... will PM you how I solved it...but for now... I am posting Human Torch together with Iceman pic just to see that this DST Human Torch is not at all off-scale with other Bowen stats.

Yeah I got a funny feeling that back drops are a great idea :D :laugh: brilliant minds think alike.. I really can't wait for more updates from you.I've heard someone say backdrops are distracting from the statue but, I totally disagree. It does the opposite for me it brings a statue to life also Back drops separate you from people that have your statue it's the fine art of display.. keep knockin em dead!!!

Thanks a lot bro... I just find it exciting and challenge as well to put all this up together... i will be disappointed if i cant pull this through considering i already designed some interiors of houses and offices. And I totally agree with you back drops makes our statue more realistic... Well, this is our hobby, might as well find some ample time to improve it from time to time...

Your Matrix collection makes me wanna collect that line also.. its so fantastic esp. the lightings on the side.... congrats as well...

Thanks... actually, the upper part is not yet really finished, ive got lots of arrangement to do since the stats i put there are not scaled to each other esp. Beast in which I really dont know where to place him. Im very glad that you appreciate the bottom deck, it took me sometime to figure and put them all together in one place... I Agree.. maybe I can name them Eugene's Avenger Quad Team (there are two Iron Man there so I just count them as one) ... hahaha..

Thanks Ironlungs... heres the story... right after I saw this Deadpool, i immediately talked to Pearlthunder and said I want my Deadpool to be different... i want his gun to be chromed or gold... until everybody almost forgot about that suggestion I said for my piece... at the end... it was Blackhammer's idea to come up with different color of the gun and sword... it was brilliant... I commend both this people...

You definetly deserve "the best" display comment because once again you showed us, how a display is as important as the pieces in your collection.
