Here are some links to some of my collection. Much of it is still in boxes as I am quickly running out of space to display them.

That's Archer, leader of the Gorganites. The statue is scaled to the original filming figure and was released in Japan shortly after the film came out.

Set you kit collection free!

I don't know about setting it all free but most of it will probably end up in EBay one of these days. even if I ever did get back into kit building, I don't know where I would display them.

nice lifesize raptor, what made you pick that one over the the other one they produce?

Marc (the sculptor) asked me the same thing when I orderred it. He said the version 2 was more accurate and better sculpted. I liked the dynamic pose of version 1 and the fact that his mouth was open. He is also slightly shorter due to the curved tail so he fits better in my house. If I ever move I might get the other one for a matched set.

You don't need a bigger house, what you need is your own museum. :wink2:

Pretty great collection - but if you're thinking you need more room - maybe it's time to thin the collection!

The display cases (clear covers) were made by a local display company here in Ajax Ontario Canada. The base is custom cut stretched Canvas frame screwed to a piece of 1/2 inch plywood with black edging. I rested the model base in that and covered it with an acrylic mirror with a hole cut in it large enough for the stand to stick through. The covers cost me between $150 to $250 (when the price of oil went up). The custom frames were roughly $45.

Yah, I'm a huge Jim Henson fan (Muppet show, TMNT live action movies and Dinosaurs)

Consider yourself lucky...most of us have to cram our stuff into one room. Love the collection, especially the dragons and Imperial Walker. It's all soooo tidy!

I love your Oxmox stuff, do you mind if I ask what the going rate on a life size raptor is.

I am not totally sure but I think they are going for around $3500 plus shipping. You would have to contact Oxmox to be sure. I know their full size T-Rex head is $6000.

Best collection and setup I've seen. That Raptor is amazing. Would love to stand up close to that. Really makes you admire the size of actual dinosaurs

One of my recliners facing my TV is right next to it (moved out of the way for the pics). Kind of neat watching Jurassic Park during the raptor scenes. :)

Great collection! Give me your house and buy a bigger one.;)
Seriously...I would sell the stuff that's in boxes. Then you'll have more room to display the good stuff.
