Hello everyone,

I'm putting the finishing touches on my first sculpt. I had of questions for the pros about primers. I purchased a can of Plastikote Sandable White primer. I have not applied any yet at this point. First of all...was this a good choice?

My medium was Super Sculpey, and after it was baked I noticed a lot of dry spots where I've sanded and white lines etc...Will the primer fill some of these things in?

I've read that I can sand after priming. However, can a sculpt be baked again once the primer is applied?

Sorry if any of these questions are considered foolish, but I do appreciate the help.

I use Duplicolor Filler primer and regular primer on all my items when ready to paint. Duplicolor so far is the best primer for water sanding and reg sanding.

Never primed anything and then baked it, may not be a good idea.

But the Filler primer helps me fill in scratches, and find problems i miss other wise. Sands great with 100, 150 and 360 grit papers.
