How should I do this pose(standing/lying)? Any ideas on the base?

I would have the base at a Diaganal, like a / shape with powergirl lying down but hovering just above it (supported) with the base painted the same as the background in that image.

Personally i would want to see a lying pose coz its different,haha base could just be a cloud LOL

Have clouds under her, like she is laying in them.

if I let her lying in the clouds, I still would love a levitation effect, I don't want the clouds to look solid...

I was considering this statue too.

I was planing a clouds base and her standing at 45 degrees. Something like the Bowen Storm.

Hmmm...I'm really wondering if this will be a display friendly endevour.

Lying at 45 degrees like that, you will hardly be able to see any part of her side. You will not see her from her front at all unless she is displayed on a shelf VERY close to the floor.

Also at the end of the day, a female sculpt is good for her shapeliness and head sculpt. Her shapeliness is likely to be obscured by the clouds and her head will only be seen at an acute angle...
