Next show is Sunday Oct. 23, 2005.
Only one guest listed. Not a good sign.

With the price of gas and needing OT, I'll have to pass, unless somebody I'm dying to meet gets scheduled. Doubt that will happen.
So it'll be Portland next week. Last Con for me this year.

I went to the show with my son. I was hoping to pick up a few Bowen busts or statues but nothing available, only picked up some Marvel Heroclix for my son. (I was in Seattle because my brother-in-law, his girlfriend and my wife wanted to go to a Seahawks game).

I haven't been to this show in quite awhile. Sounds like I didn't miss much.
Are you going to the Emerald City Comic Con in April?
Wife and I will be there. There have been getting better guests and have freebies the regular Seattle Show hasn't had in awhile.
Did Seahawks win?

I wasn’t planning to go to the Seattle show. I only realized it was on when I was browsing the internet for things to do with my 3 yr. old son while the others were at the game.

I’ve never been to the Emerald Comic Con. How is it? Are there usually many statues and busts for sale?

Yes – the Seahawks did win 13-10 over Dallas. A thrilling finish as they tied the game with 40 seconds remaining, then intercepted a pass with 5 seconds left and kicked a 50-yard field goal to win the game. :buttrock:

Beavis,
I've enjoyed the Emerald City (EMCC) show. Next year will be it's 4th year, and I'll be attending it for the 3rd time. This year it expanded to a two day show, but only went 1 day, since it was on Super Bowl weekend. May stay for two next year. I don't usually shop for busts/statues at cons, since I get them when they are first released. Although, Palisades had a both this year, and I picked up a Predator micro-statue. Game sounded great.
