Well I decided to decorate my office in a Frazetta decor. I bet they would love me on trading spaces  Anyway, here are some very poor pics

Love the theme. Framed art as the background to the statues add depths and completes the display. Well done!

"Primeval Princess" sculpted by Steve West based on a painting by Boris Vallejo, Kull minibust from Dark Horse, Elric sculpted by Sam Greenwell, and an Elric I got as a gift, unknown sculptor.

"Past Future Fog" based on painting by Luis Royo. This statue was painted by Tom (RiderV3 on the forum)

Frazetta's Death Dealer III, painted by Dan Nash (Shedman on the Forum) and someone's take on the "Egyptian Queen", I got this off ebay and it had no box and no info on it whatsoever.

CS Moore's Kull and Weta's "Female Templar", evidently she is from a game called Hellgate or something. I don't know a thing about it but love this sculpt so I bought it anyway.

"Dark Kingdom" sculpted by Steven Lord and painted by Saul Alvarez (Saul62 on the forum). Thanks to Saul for saving this one for me. The factory paint job needed help. But this one features 2 signatures by Frazetta himself. One on the visible plate and the other on the bottom of the statue

I've always said you have a gorgeous collection and an excellent eye for display ... but to finally see the whole show, with all the players, was a royal treat.

I take it that you read your Sword and Sorcery and Fantasy novels in that room.

This is an Elric wall plaque that Shedman painted for me. The sword got broken off in a move and I lost the end of it which really sucks because its a great piece otherwise

http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u170/TeddyNovak/Frazetta/IMG_0878.jpg
This is a better pic of the Female Templar from Weta. The sculpt and the paint are both top notch, and its heavy as hell. Great piece, and only a run of 300.

http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u170/TeddyNovak/Frazetta/IMG_0879.jpg
and of course we have the Maltese Falcon procured from Floyd Thursby by way of Gutman and his gunsel, and a female being created that was done also by Dan Nash (Shedman on the forum)

Liquid, are you talking about the wall plaque Elric or the alabaster head bust Elric? Also on the unpainted Elric does anyone have an opinion if you think it would look better painted or not?

Everything I have looks better in person than it does in the photos, but this is especially true of the Monster and Bride. If that is your type of thing to collect then yes I would definitely get it if I were you. They are very nice looking in person. I don't know who else for sure has them other than Rilynil and he said the same thing, he loves his set :buttrock:

TNovak,

Very impressive. I love all of your stuff. I especially like the Past Future Fog piece. Can you tell me more about it? Who produced it?

Past Future Fog was produced by Dark Horse in 2005 with an edition size of 750. It was based on a painting by Luis Royo of the same name. It was sculpted by Steve Kiwas. it had a SRP of $150. The COA that comes with it is autographed by Royo and Kiwas.

The one you see in the pics is vastly improved over the factory version thanks to a much needed paint job upgrade by Tom (RiderV3 on the forum). The factory paint wasn't very good on this. Up until a few months ago this was still available from Dark Horse, but finally sold out. It is only 9" tall so the paint on the face in particular looked very un-lifelike. It looked more like a doll or something. Tom did a fantastic job on this and I get a lot of compliments on it. :buttrock:

I think I erred in my previous post about your question, I had thought Past Future Fog was the only statue based on a Royo painting, but Sideshow has "Medusa's Gaze" that you can see here

Love it! I've been a Frazetta fan most of my life. As an artist myself he was one of my earliest and biggest artistic inspirations.
Have you gotten to see the original paintings? They are STUNNING. I live near the frazetta family and the museum is right here as well. (and all the family drama is like front page news around here! lol)
