Guys,

This is a great idea, but we can only consider characters that are public domain, real historical figures or part of mythology!

Please don't make any requests for copyrighted characters that we cannot produce yet!

"Anubis is the Greek name for a jackal-headed god associated with mummification and the afterlife in Egyptian mythology. In the ancient Egyptian language, Anubis is known as Inpu, (variously spelled Anupu, Ienpw etc.). The oldest known mention of Anubis is in the Old Kingdom pyramid texts, where he is associated with the burial of the king. At this time, Anubis was the most important god of the Dead but he was replaced during the Middle Kingdom by Osiris.

I don't think that the Egyptian Government wont sue you for copyright on this. Its a Myth character anyway

best,

The Monkey King has been around forever so he's purely public domain, and has always been one of my favorite gods, and i think you guys would do an amazing job on him, and if i might add hell yes to an Anubis:D

Yep.. Hanuman, the Monkey God, son of the Wind.. . and Rama, an avataar of the hindu god of protection, Vishnu.. are a huge part of Hindu Mythology.. and the story is in the Epic called ramayana.. so
No Copyright worries there.. :D

monkey king would be great. i also would like to see more ancient chinese statues. they would deserve your great style. beside the "warlords" by hot toys, there are no cool renditions of the chinese culture.
great job so far guys !!!

Guys,

All those suggestions are great! I'm sure that we will be able to have many of them as part of ARH line of Mythological characters.

Thanks a lot for bringing your suggetions. It really help us!

@supahman and mryac...yeah i think we need the great king of monkey statues..its either....hanuman or monkey king arh...:P

i've always prefered the Chinese Journey to the West Sun Wukong
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Wu_Kong
http://i48.tinypic.com/23rjneb.jpg

over the Indian Ramayana Hanuman
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanuman
http://i45.tinypic.com/b7ckyr.jpg

Wu-Kong always seemed to have more of a badass warrior presence in his drawings where Hanuman is usually shown to be more human and peaceful looking, but they are both very closely related and from great stories so i'd be happy with either.

Honestly, your Achilles and Leonidas statues are such favorites of mine I'm really hoping to see some more heroes from Greek mythology. A really badass version of Heracles would be very welcome, and I'm guessing that with Clash of the Titans hitting screens soon maybe we'll get to see a theatrically inspired version of Perseus? And can I be a history geek and not mention Odysseus w/ his great bow in hand? Man that would be so cool.

Getting away from the Greeks, I also have to say that a Beowulf statue based off of Bulvi from "The 13th Warrior" would be a major must own for me.

Regardless, thanks for bringing some of the pre masks and tights heroes to life and please keep up the great work.

I like the idea of Sinbad, or Hercules, I also think a Roman gladiator would be nice, something like HBO's Rome or the movie Gladiator or even something inspired by Frazetta's 7 Romans painting.
