Besta question

Hey guys. i am thinking of getting some Besta shelves from Ikea and just wanted to ask those who have them -
Will the Greivious PF fit inside with a glass door?
Which glass doors do you use?

Would love to see some pics of peoples Besta displays posted too.(I did a search but couldnt find the thread i was looking for.

Yes and no on GG PF – If you position him facing forward the oval base is a tad bit too long (about an inch). I ended up cutting a small section of the thin wood backing out so that the back of the base sticks out through the back of the Besta unit, and the door closes nicely. You can’t even see where it’s cut.

I’m using the taller units (75”) with tall Vegby glass doors (50”) on the bottom. I’m not a huge fan of the white border but it’s the only configuration that doesn’t have the frosted glass. I’m trying to get the 25” doors for the tops as well but the Ikea by me is always out of them (and the lighting strips that I’m looking for). Going to make an Ikea run this weekend!

Here is a way to get GG PF to fit completely in a Besta with all sabers in.

The only problem is that you have to buy three different $60 units to make it work. I found some of it in AS-IS so it didnt cost me quite so much. It works well though.

I bought a jig at Lowes to put the holes in the top and bottom so I could connect the smaller depth cabinet to the larger depth cabinet.
