My name is Julian
I'm getting together all the information and know how i need to start up my own production company. This is a long term goal and could be two years away.

In the mean time, I need a mold maker. While I have no trouble making them myself, I'm getting bogged down in the lengthy process of making them. I should be concentrating on generating more leads and knocking out the prototypes as quickly as possible.

SO
I'm looking for Australian moldmakers; Ideally based in Melbourne (because that is where I am) to cut down on freight and postage costs.

At the moment, my client base is asking for an average of 9 copies of their toy/character.
I have tentative clients asking for 20+ casts.
And within a year I aim to be offering runs of vinyl, Polyurethanes and polyesters in the low hundreds (to try to cater comic artists who are not interested in making runs of minimum 1000 pieces)

Potential replyers,
This is an opportunity to secure subcontracting jobs. Slow and occasional at first, but increasing with the demands of my clients.

ANy who are interested, please write to my email account:

thanks for reading this far

Hi Jansen
WE are going to start out making Mass production prototypes for license holders, THEN branch out into making known characters and applying for licenses from Marvel, DC etc.

Good luck mate! Wish I could help, I LOVED the stuff you did for Chumba among others and told him so when I saw him at a con late last year :)
