Single Carded Figures - Series 3

The third series of single carded figures debuted in December 2010 and featured character art by Olivier Coipel (Waves 12 and 13), Simone Bianchi (Waves 14 and 15) and Ed McGuinness (Wave 16). Unlike series 1 & 2 it did not include file cards. The theme is once again S.H.I.E.L.D., but with Steve Rogers in charge rather than Nick Fury.

Over here in Oz the Marvel Universe figure are 17.99 each so Bill, Matty and Mikey have graciously been tracking down the figures and completing my collection which has essentially become a joint collection I am in possession of :laugh:

They figured a checklist was in order so nobody doubled up :p

What do these cost? I just found #2 for $20 plus shipping on an online site.

depends on the store - i have found some on clearance for $9, but of course the selection is limited. I think average retail on the two packs are about $17 or so. Hold off a bit and let me double check now that we have a master list to go from ;)

stumbled across these guys at a local grocery store! and after thinking about it, went out later to another and found the second lot - will be adding these stores to my toy run in the future :thumbs2:

so the upside is there are 6 more figures scratched off the list and about 5 more stores that are added to the search list.

these all look good, but Iron Spider and the Skrull really stand out for me. they even have Skrull Soldier written in Skrull on his base

stopped by the Toys R Us and it was there on the peg. had one of each of the new wave (minus variants of course).

not sure on the short pack, but would have to imagine it is.

okay bear with me on this post


it seems that #25 is Constrictor, but it will be released with the next wave (don't ask, i have no idea) so the master list is updated and correct as far as the reference site i have used for all the other updates.

in regards to the 2 versions of the Skrull Soldier - on the base (which is packaged behind the figure) one of them has "Skrull Soldier" printed in English and the other has it in Skrull. had no idea there was a variant on this until i picked up a Skrull thinking i would add it to my collection and noticed the base in English. will try and take some pictures and post, but not sure how well it will show up.


Also if anyone is interested i found (and picked up :D) another unmasked Iron Patriot. asking only what i paid ($8) and whatever actual shipping is. also willing to bring it along to NYCC if anyone wants to save on postage and pick it up there.
