Just check pic no2 on Superman's PO page.
The sun and sunlight behind him, Superman taking off to the sky, being determined, stocky, powerful and wise (being a bit "older"), his magnificent cape conquering the space around, his iconic pose, his strength.
This statues PERSONIFIES what Superman trully is.
Superman is the quintessential super-hero. Powerful but also wanting to help people. He stands for freedom, he brings HOPE to a hopeless world.
Seeing Superman and hearing John Williams theme = there is HOPE in this world, there is a man who is going to fight for the non-powerful, for the neglected, for humanity as a whole.
This statue captured it all.
Check the 2nd pic on Sideshow's page.
This is not a statue. This is John William's Superman theme immortalized in stone.
This is POETRY in statue form. This is ART.
