The Comic Buyer's Guide ran a huge, cover-story, multi-article on Doc Savage, `Author, Kenneth Robeson, complete listings of the Pulps and Bantam editions, the radio broadcasts, reviews, etc...
back in the Feb, 12, 1993 edition. Maybe you can find it on-line somewhere.
BT - You're gonna love Doc. The books are amazing. Remember to try and place yourself, as a reader, mentally in the time they were written. If you try and read w/ a pair of 1930's eyes, the books become even more enjoyable.
I remember when you used to be able to find the Bantam paperbacks in every used bookstore. They're a lot of fun to collect.
