Porch pirates
i guess because of corona 19 some carriers have a policy that allow drivers to just leave the package next to your drive way or around your front porch even if it requires signature delivery the driver just signs for it.
I had some of my packages delivered just next to my driveway where people can easily see it driving by or walking by...they do not even make the effort to put it on my front door anymore.
with sideshow and other statue companies on their shipping cartons they print in big letters what is inside the box so people can easily know what is inside.
obviously this works better for porch pirates nowadays because packages area more easily stolen especially if they are just dropped off pretty much next to your driveway.
perfect timing because I have not had any statue deliveries since corona 19
what do you do to protect yourself from porch pirates stealing your statues or packages?

I am very fortunate that I live in a building where UPS,FedEx, Amazon etc. will come into the building and drop packages off in a designated area in my lobby
Before I lived in this building I would just have my packages delivered to my place of employment

I signed up for UPS and FedEx accounts to change location to a pick up spot other than having it sent home. If it's regular mail I have it sent to work.

This is why I have everything sent to my office. I'd be a nervous wreck every day I got a statue worrying the hours it sat on my porch until I got home.

UPS doesn't ring and they did that before Corona 19. When I got home from work, the package with XM Wolverine was on the doorstep. Anyone could have just taken it with them. We always have someone at home.
So far I was lucky that it didn't rain.
Once a neighbor came over and rang the bell because there was a big package in the courtyard entrance.
The UPS driver would not have to wait. Just ring the bell.

I've got a wyze camera on my porch but that is the only area it covers. A couple weeks ago, my youngest luckily saw UPS just leave a package on the sidewalk in front of our house. What?@?@?!?!
