I just saw that, very sad...
My Dad and I used to go to the Staples Center for most of their games back when Kobe and Shaq dominated the NBA... Those were some exciting games back then... I was there when Kobe went on shooting streak and hit like 12 3-pointers in a row...
A very talented Basketball Player...

I am not a sports fan in any way but this is a true loss. He definitely seemed to give back and to be very philanthropic. The world definitely has suffered a loss.

Yeah, I just saw that they updated the story to include his daughter, that's really tragic...
Rumors are saying it was a bad fog that caused the accident they got to close to a hillside...

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Terrible news!! A top 5 player all time and a great ambassador to the game. Wonder how a top of the line helicopter crashed in such a short trip. Sad day. Rest in piece black mamba!

Just a couple highlights...
2001 Kobe and the Lakers went 16-1 in the playoffs, a record still today...
Kobe beat the Mavs by himself, Kobe 62 to Mavericks 61
Kobe averaged 40 pts a game for the entire month of Feb.
Kobe had 4 straight games of 50+ points
Kobe Dunk on 7'6" Yao Ming
Kobe dribbles the ball behind his back then goes into a 360 as he dunks on Vicent Yarbrough... A great poster dunk...
Kobe shot 12 3-pointers in a row, the record has been tied but not beaten...
All I can say is thanks for the great memories... R.I.P.

Thank you for so many great memories Kobe. You were the epitome of tenacity, excellence and the will to win. RIP.
My condolences to all the families who lost loved ones in the crash.

This is terrible. I wasn't even the biggest Kobe fan but this is just awful. No one should die that young. And the fact his daughter was with him even makes it more sad. Rest in peace.
