Ikea opens in Michigan tomorrow
For anyone that wants to know IKEA is opening in canton Michigan tomorrow the 7th, Just thought I would let the fellow forum members know.

Lets hope that they don't experience all the trouble that the recently opened new Ikea in Edmonton, North London had. They opened at around midnight offering some really silly prices as opening offers and all the roads around the store were gridlocked until mid-morning the following day (some people actually left their cars parked in the middle of the road because they couldn't go anywhere), customers rushed the store and staff had to lock it because they couldn't cope with demand and I believe someone also got stabbed......

This sounds like a typical day at Ikea in Schaumburg, Illinois. The place is an absolute madhouse each and every day. They have some great display cases for statues and whatnot but each time I go I usually leave empty handed just because I can't deal with the madness!

I wish they would open one in NY... Sometimes the 3 that we have doesnt have exactly what I am looking for....
