Armoured Daredevil appeared in something like #319 to #345. It was the "regular" costume during these issues.

I believe it was for 2-3 issues tops. It just looks cool  . And as Dana P said in the thread below, it was during one of Thor's best runs.

Also during any guest appearances he made in various other titles during that time period he wore the armor.
