Collection intervention

Just saw an ad for a show called collection intervention. Starts with a guy who has star wars stuff throughout his house and has to scale back to please his wife and have calm in the household. Sort of like collection hoarders.

Hahahaha... one of us has to get on that show; some of you definitely could use the "intervention".

I haven't seen it, but most collections on here have their own rooms or at least a definitive order to them; my guess is... most "collections" on the show are... scattered everywhere, unorganized?

I never display anything outside of my man-cave (back when i had one .. I will again), so I'd be good. Most of us seem to be in the same boat; man-cave and/or office.

I did that with my collection years ago. I'm going to sue this show.

My god!! Just saw 2 episodes today, i really could feel their anxiety, some of them looked like crack addicts (note th cat woman guy biting his nails when it came time to sell),I wasnt too far behind a few years ago,I have it under control now again, but felt the old urges with all the batman stuff coming, this show slapped some sense back into me.

That anxiety is a common theme among collectors i feel, the need to order that statue due to forum hype and pics,if you are having such issues and know what i am talking about always remeber there will ALWAYS be a better version,ALWAYS!! Sort your family out and finances out and then keep a lil aside for collecting.

Wonder how many devorces this hobby has caused.Filling up the house with boxes and getting into debt can put any relationship under strain.

four bestas, six detolfs, and my PC desk. When it comes to collecting statues/figures, it had better fit cleanly on there. If it doesn't, something is getting sold, or I don't buy something new. lol
