I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Who's collecting Star Wars Japanese versions?
Just wondering if you guys are collecting both original versions and Japanese versions. My initial thoughts were to just stick with the original release, even though they may be higher priced. Then I was having second thoughts since the sculpts are the same, why should it matter?
A couple weeks ago, someone was selling the Japanese Royal Guard at $350 BIN. I am kinda regretting not getting one.
Thoughts?

I remembered a French collector compared both Yoda 1, first release vs. japanese release, and ended up with the opinion that the first release had a slightly better painting job.
Don't know about the other characters, sorry.

Thats interesting, and unfortunate. One of Attakus' biggest strengths are their amazing paint jobs.

I was going to buy it but did not have money at that time. (Still I do not have though )
I do not care about the version, Attakus Royal guard rules imo

I have the both version, and there are no difference between them.
If I have time, I will try to compared them with close pics, but for sure there no difference

Can't wait for the pics too, thank you. I would imagine they are exactly the same.
So then, anyone else buying one release or the other or both?
