MK Scorpion statue leans

Hey guys. For anyone that has the Mixed Media MK Scorpion statue that was release a few years back, it's the one where Scorpion throws his chain spear with hands coming out of the lava. Just noticed somehow mine has leaned about 25 degrees to his left side. It wasn't like that when i first displayed him. I'd noticed it when he was leaning against my wall. Luckily the swords on his back didn't break off.

Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, this happens to top-heavy statues without sufficient support. Fluctuations in temeprature soften the polystone, and the statue will give in to gravity. How gradual this happens, I have no idea.

PCS has had a few of these, mixed media Vega comes to mind. I would hope the SF Ultras with their one leg stances hold up over time.

Mine had the issue.
Others I seen online seem to have varying degrees of it also.

Might not be the easiest to see as it was not that severe, but you can see him starting to go to his left (pics right).

Once the Klassics dropped, I got rid of this piece to make room for the Klassics.

Mine from before & after with same camera angle. It's strange how my statue room is never hot or abover warm temperature. Statue won't stand upright without holding onto it anymore.

I had mine for years and it never leaned but i've seen lots do it.

To be honest it wasn't a great statue and it was really highlighted when MK9 Subzero came out which was light years ahead in detail and paints.

It's really a bummer when a statue leans, especially when it's a high valued one. I think my Superman PF and Koto DRS Psylocke are the only ones I have that lean a bit.

Yeah. Hopefully they'll start releasing statues sitting on a throne from now on. That'll solve the leaning issues
