I know this may be a really stupid question but...did you put the battery in? Whiplash uses a different type of battery to the IM figures and you have to put it in yourself - as far as i know, it's the only HT figure with light up features that doesn't come pre-installed with the battery/batteries

I did put the battery in. I'm hoping it's just a dead battery but I doubt it.
