Black Widow and Captain America Variants
Wish this had been released earlier. Exactly as I had suggested.

Apparently these are 1/8 scale variants. That big Lucite base both are resting on is probably the same size that the original 1/4 BW has. That should give you some idea of the scale difference.
A nice way to do a variant, imo. The original still has cachet for it's scale, while people that missed out can now be able to at least get something. I would be all over these if I missed out on the original.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

1/8 is a weird choice for a size why not 1/7 like Bowen or 1/6.

1/8th is pretty small and fits with NOTHING in my collection, but I will be getting that Black Widow for sure! Maybe Cap too as a companion piece if the price is right.

The crates would have been nice on the 1/4 scale BW

I'm all for the 1/8 scale variants. Great way to get these awesome sculpts in the hands of those who do not want to shell out $400 for one character

We are of like minds on this news. I had to return my 1/4 BW due to damage and no replacements so this is welcome news.
I wonder when these will go up for preorder.

On that's scale I'm in. Hopefully we don't have to wait 5 years for a release.

Well 1/8 is the most common scale in Japan and this Marvel stuff is actually really popular there so perhaps that's the target audience this time.
