ECCC March 27-29 2015

thinking of finally making the trip to the Pacific NW this year for ECCC. three of my favorite print artists will be there (Englert, Perillo, Whalen) and the comic artist list is gonna be ridiculous. could easily be a $10k trip, especially if i take the fam. i would love to set up another piece from Granov and maybe take the Timm plunge if possible. would be extra dangerous if Ottley heads up there. i know a few of you go every year, still headed back in 2015?

well, i saw the 3 day passes are sold out, I'm sure long ago. airfare right now is CHEAP!!! trying to lock down a con buddy to roll with and help with hotel costs, which are still available. trying to get this trip finalized by the new year. also, tried to set up another Granov, so, Tamsins response is kinda contingent, although, Ottley is going so i could probably finally get that commission I've been after for 2+ years. the idea of having a picture with my two favorite artists (Ottley/Englert) is just too cool for me. i keep seeing it in my head! that'd be wicked. aaaaaannnnnddddd, legal weed. (drops mic)

Haha! Tried to set up a Granov, an "at-home" piece for con pickup, like my Omni-man. The wait list for those pieces is now up to 5 YEARS!!!!! May have to go with the at con piece instead. Ha.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Well, the list is closed now. I can't imagine waiting 5 years! You've gotten the con pieces before though, right? Those are just as good. Well........almost. I'll prob go for a bust this year if I can make the list. I think Ashers Penguin was like $200 or so. I bet that list fills up quick. Ottley did say he'd do a commission for me to pick up at the con. THAT I'm excited about!
