Okay this is more of a personal thread and the reason for it is because I want Jerry and team to acknowledge just what this really means to me. I've known Jerry since 2003. Back when he started making the Street Fighter figures at SOTA Toys. Was a huge fan of his work. I fell in love with those figures! It was a "finally someone cares about Street Fighter" moment for me! In the collectibles world I mean. It is was a great time and I was really looking forward to completing the world warriors in action figure form!
Then Jerry sold SOTA and even though the remaining warriors were released after he left, it wasn't the same for me anymore. The buzz had gone for me from those figures and then something amazing happened! Jerry showed work in progress sculpts of Akuma and I was blown away! Still remember that feeling I got! I instantly fell in love! I wanted it and any other Street Fighter statue he made. I was praying for Ryu next and my prayers were indeed answered! Bham! New company and new line of awesome statues were born!
I then said to myself, "This is it... world warriors in statue form will happen". Although I honestly didn't expect it to take this long lol, but the fact that it's finally happened means so much to me as a HUGE Street Fighter fan. 10 years. That's a long time and it was totally worth the wait because now having all 12 of them in front of me, is a feeling that I have never felt from collecting! So I just want to say thank you to Jerry and everyone at PCS who worked so hard to make fans like me appreciate it all!
And thank you to all the friends I have made on this journey. I've been on the forums for nearly 10 years and I've never gone a week without visiting this place. You're all awesome people with awesome hobbies and I hope we all continue to love, respect and be happy with this hobby! I've been waiting for my world warrior pic for a long time and talking to Mark today, he gave me the idea for this pic!
