#yawn.....
I'm a bit confused by Infinity Studios, they seem to have a lot of potential, but their product portfolio seems to have no clear direction.
This piece is nice, but it's nice in a cute "anime" type of way, which....if you like that, then great.....I guess.
When these guys are showing 1/2 LotR statues....hyper-real, and then......this?!?! I don't know if I should take them seriously or not.

not sure I understand. So, to be taken seriously, they have to make huge, big-time licensed statues?

Not necessarily. My point is, most collectibles manufacturers struggle with high end pieces (e.g 1/2 hyper real LotR), if they even attempt it. So, when I see a fairly small producer spreading themselves thin across a wide range of products - of varying styles and I.P.'s it makes me question how reliably I can count on the high end stuff being a) produced, and b) to a decent quality.
The statue shown in this thread looks like something any amateur sculptor could produce in zbrush and digitally print....a wide distance from their 1:1 Batman or Wonder Woman.

I dunno, they will produce what they think will sell. There has to be a big market for this
Just because it's not appealing to some tastes doesn't mean it's any less profitable
