Alien Warrior

Does anyone have the Attakus Alien Warrior, and if so, what is the general consensus on this piece? I’m contemplating picking one up.

I had one, with the egg also.

It's a nice looking piece, the problems I had with it was the base was too big and very fragile.

Just didn't have the room to display it, so I let it go.

Wow, you weren't kidding - my base came broken in about 20 places. I should have a replacement next week. My fingers are crossed but the base is so brittle, it'll take nothing short of a miracle for one to get to me in the US mint.

I have to say the the paint apps and QC on the Attakus stuff is absolutely amazing. I really wish Sideshow would take a page out of their book.

Well, the replacement Alien Warrior arrived this week with yet another damaged base. The damage this time around was to the underside of the flooring and not nearly as noticable as the first one. I like this piece so much that I decided to keep it and fix it up myself – the base is so unbelievably brittle that I figured I’d eventually end up breaking it while dusting anyways! Pics seem to really loose the paint detail and color but here are a few quick ones:

Thanks for the pics. The only thing that bothers me is the drool. It just doesn't look right. I know drool is generally very hard to get right in a statue and this is no exception. There's a Attakus 10 year anniversary sale at a local store and i might pick it up relatively cheap.
