how close to 8k......
do you think these guys will get before the mods delete all the threads that have come out in the past few days with multiple posts of one or two words.

That would make me cry. 
But then, my posts are pretty spread out--I'm mainly active in the General threads, the Comics threads, the Bowen threads, and some in the Movie/TV threads. So I've diversified my posting interests...

Exactly. Should a disaster hit, and the bottom drops out of one of the SF thread areas, I should be able to weather the storm just fine...
