Civil War - Iron Spider Bust

So I've been after getting some Iron Spider busts because like others i think it was a damn cool costume that was killed off way to fast! All i have seen is this one and a new avengers one which i will pick up soon.

So i picked up this one, i got it for £15 ($30) and i must say it was worth every penny. I think its a great sculpt of the suit and the "waldoes" are more than welcome as i think it sets the bust off perfect.

The base is ok, it looks a lot better in person than on pics and i definately think it'll look a lot better when i pick up a couple more of the Civil War busts as on its own or with my other Bowen/Diamond Select busts it looks out of place. Size is pretty decent, about the same size as a bowen bust but not the size of other DS busts.

Anyway here are the obligatory pics!

Overall very happy with him....now wheres that full size Iron Spider...

If I have not said it, welcome to the forum DGK. About the statue, I think it is an awesome sculpt. Got as soon as it came out. I like the pose and the base. However, the hole for the peg is a little loose and DST shouldve made the costume more metallic. Well congrats on this piece and lets cross our fingers on a FS.

If you like that one, you'll love this one.

There's a painted version, a chrome version, and a rare gold chrome version as well.

I did mention that in my post, i did not however know they did chrome versions!

Will have to keep my eye out for a chrome one, shame theres no waldoes on this one though

Edit: LoL just read that the "gold" chrome one is limited to 5 worldwide...so that rules that one out, standard chrome it is.

Gold chrome bust is limited to 100. There are 5 SIGNED ones out of that run.

The Gold chrome is limited to 100 pieces. And I'm sure there are more than 5 signed ones. But the signatures aren't that great to start with. The autograph are signed on this hologram sticker when is later attached to the base.

If it didn't have that Civil War base it would actually look pretty good.

i got this bust couple of months ago. bit pricey back there. but, i agree it's worth every penny. good sculpt.

and im a fan of iron spider-man. almost have all of them, except the ugly and pricey 10" doll. and i also looking for the new avenger bust.

then i realize there's a mistake here. the bust statue has four tentacles, instead of three.

I bought a Gold Chhrome one off of ebay that was damaged. The pinkie finger was broke off, that is it. I think I got it for 25 bucks... the ebay seller was Wizard Entertainment. I think I got it at a fair price and the finger that is missing does not bother me.

I would be interested in getting it fixed, but would not know where to start adn my art/sculpting/creativeness is non-existant. So it jsut sits on a shelf without a finger.

Anyone have any ideas?
