2010 looks like an amazing year for exclusives on both systems

so anxious to play Mass Effect 2 that my balls are itching

its along an oblivion type game but its so hard. I have never played a game harder than this. Makes beating a level rewarding.

ahh cool, thanks for the info. I tried oblivion but couldn't get into it, the leveling up was sooooo slow.

the system in Demon's souls is pretty odd. To Level up you have to spend your souls to do so (which you get from fighting) But the same souls are also used to buy anything else in the game such as weapon upgrades, spells, and so on. Crazy system but just adds that extra fun to the game.

Uncharted 2 is a great game...It deserves GOTY!


My vote for 2010 game will prob go to Bioshock 2..if it is anything like the first one we are going to be in for a treat!!! (only a few weeks to go before this one is out)

it was a contender on most sites
the batnut in me would have been overjoyed to c it win a GOTY award on IGn or a popular site:batman:

I dont see Bioshock doing anything too different or innovative in this game, cant see it winning but maybe

my picks
1.Alan Wake
2.Red Dead Redemption
3. Heavy Rain


some other sick games that could win
god war 3 (next gen kratos)
Splinter cell (doing alotta new things this time)
final fantasy (doubt it but next gen fantasy)
new zelda game(who knows how itl be)

Mass Effect2\bioshock 2 (both look like more of the same, Uncharted 2 was more of the same but ramped up like crazy. If either of these two games are as big a jump it could win who knows.

I can easily say that aside from red dead that looks highly innovative and awesome I wont like anything more than Mass effect 2 this year, but I doubt it will get GOTY, would be awesome though, should have been bioshock or mass effect over mario galaxy in 07 IMO. Or even Uncharted 1 , but then they wouldnt have won this year

Uncharted 2 definitely deserved GOTY last year.

I think BioShock2 will be a serious contender and there is plenty of new stuff. You will be playing as a Big Daddy, you can use weapons and plasmids simultaneously and they added multiplayer.

i took a closer look at Bioshock 2
gonna have to agree that it looks like alot is upgraded
it DOES have a great chance at winning this year

but I honestly cant expect to appreciate the story as much from what I've heard
