I only have 1 piece of original art (an Exiles page from Jim Calafiore) but what do you guys think of the blue lines on some artwork? It is kinda distracting to me.

To me blue lines in art shows you how much the artist thinks of a piece before his final pencil action. I like them. Mike Wieringo was a huge blue line art man. All blue lines and when he liked something he would change to regular lead and finish the piece.

Sciver is big on blue lines also. As long as the final piece is good, I don't mind the blue lines, they don't take away or distract for me.

It's a technique used by some artists which allow an insight into their creative thinking in designing the piece. It's an integral part of the artwork and I have no problem with it at all.

Oh yeah Bulls...cool cover by Stuart Immonen! I've got a Hellcat cover by Stuart coming soon Best,

Geez, Bulls can you be more cryptic? What was the point of this thread? Did you buy this?

Immonen is a great artist. I do wish he'd settle on a style though. I think it'd help his career and he's had a bunch of styles that I liked, but then he's moved on to something else.
