Master Replicas Enterprise
Hi all, just received my Enterprise LE #922 and It has a rather long dark mark or smudge running down the top of the right warp nacelle. Does anyone else that has one have a similar issue? I don't believe it to be weathering, if it is intentional it looks more like phaser damage.
Thanks in advance.

Picture will help.
There was intentionally weathering first time around. But this second batch they have switched production houses for assembly and maybe someone got heavy handed with the airbrush.

Maybe, someone put #2 on it. Instead of #1.

I'd say it's a defect and it would bother me.

That looks typical of the original batch.
It's just weathering, mine has that in the same spot, perhaps not as dark, but it's there.
It's a personal thing how much "weathering" looks right, or even if it should be there at all.

Looks like an unintentional blemish on the model either way. I would return and get another if there is a second run that corrected that.

I believe this bit of weathering was referred to as an "asteroid hit." Doesn't look too bad from your photo, but since the weathering on all the ships was done by hand, I read that some seemed darker than others.

I think it would help to see the over all model to see if it is a defect or weathering. If there are no other marks anywhere else, then i'd think it was a defect.
