wife just bought me one of these (box, harddrive and 2 wireless controllers) for my birthday tomorrow and we are wondering what we need in order to download these classic arcade games microsft is releasing?

You can go wireless or not, in wich case you would need a router.

if you have a router, you can just route a cable to the 360... I use a Wireless Adapter because the router is upstairs...

It is easy to set up if you go wireless... and it works flawlessly...

To download the games you are going to have to buy points... you can do so by purchasing a card at your local game store... or by purchasing points through xbox live...

I would also encourage you to get Xbox Live Gold... again.. you can purchase a 12 month card through your local game store... or by subscribing online I believe...
