Some special effects...

...are more impressive, and horrifying, in person...

this is what 24" x 44" of 1/4" tempered glass can apparently turn into in less time than it takes to say "Sh!t"...

Even more frustrating is the fact that it also chipped the edge of the shelf above it when it went, or the fact that I wasn't even putting these in there permanetly yet. Like any kid that can't wait till Christmas morning, I had to sneak a peek at how things were going to look once the cabinet was finished. All was going well until the fifth shelf I believe it was. While attempting to maneuver it into the case, I ever so slightly bumped the support post in the front of the cabinet and the whole shelf completely disintegrated. Most of the pieces are roughly the size of popcorn.

The only two good things about this are the fact that I wasn't hurt, and I don't know how, and that it missed the Sideshow Captain America that I had just put in the bottom of the first section of the case.

Damn!...That does suck, Tuv. Sorry to see that, but glad to see you’re ok.

At 24”x 44” that had to weigh about 20lbs…..and cost a pretty penny too.

I like your cabinet; it’s interesting to see what people can come up with. And I know what it’s like to build something and to try to temporarily put it together just to get an idea what it’s going to look like…..just hate to see when something like this happens.

Do you have anymore pictures of it? I’d love to see more, especially during the build-up.

The good thing about these is that they're designed to break into popcorn so that they don't injure you. Still, coulda been nasty it Cap got it on the head.
