Repair Help

Hey Guys,
I'm trying to repair one of my statue a couple of the fingers broke off and gone missing.
I've heard in the past that Aves Epoxy is the one to use...but the place that i go to don't sell or never even heard of this brand,so i'm stuck with Super Sculpy and I'm having trouble making it stick to the ends of where the fingers were.Is there another brand out there besides ordering stuff from the Internet and available from a local Arts and Crafts stores that i can use or maybe a tip on how to make
the Sculpy stick? Thanks.

try good old fashioned superglue. if you look at some of the other posts in this section there are a bunch of tips on statue repair...aside from the one i mentioned though. if not, i don't know where in ny you are but in the city there is a store called the complete sculptor that sells magic sculpt which is similar to aves sort of...goood luck!

Order a small portion of the Apoxie from the Aves web site. Unless you can put wires in the middle of the finger, Super Sculpey is going to be weak as fingers.

Magic Sculp epoxy putty will work well if you can't find Aves.
