Vega Help
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows how to repair a broken claw on Vega. The break is at the very bottom near his hand. I've tried using superglue and hot glue but the claw is so thin and top heavy that its not working. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

I have seen it done with superglue. You need steady hands and hold your breath! Good luck

Zap-A-Gap is the super glue I have used. It seems a bit thicker than most so it isn't so runny. Don't know where you are located, but Michael's (craft store) carries it.

since the foot hold a lot of the weight. you have to drill a hole, use a pin or a small screw with the head of the screw cut off, in between the 2 broken parts. then you have to use strong glue like 2 part epoxy. once that dries up, you have to sand and smooth around.
you'll lose some paint above and below where you're sanding. then you have to spray primer in the sanded area. once that dries, you have to match paints. (airbrush will give a better look but i've seen some damn fine paintups with a brush)
hope that helps everyone with broken vega and cammy statues.
Check out the sculptor's pitshop. i'm sure there's some thread or sticky about fixing broken statues there.
