7-11 Summer Movie Promotions

This may be old news around here.

Right now 7-11 has Spider-Man 3 motion/lenticular slurpee cups.


Later on there will be promotions for Fantastic 4 and the Simpsons.

I need to find a 7-11 around here. I love picking up the superhero movie cups, whereever they may be.

Aren't these made of that really thin plastic, though? Not really worth keeping, sadly. Not like the old days. Now them were some plastic cups!

You're absolutely right, Teague! In fact, I've still got a bunch of those 7-11 cups from the 70s. Also, I checked 7-11's Web site and there doesn't appear to be any 7-11s left in Huntsville or Birmingham that I can tell. Oh well. They used to be everywhere back in the day.

It's weird--in Arizona, the Circle Ks were nice, and the 7-11s were nasty. Here in Denver, most of the 7-11s are pretty nice (though there are some bad ones), and the Circle Ks are horrible.

I might check these cups out, but like I said, they just aren't as cool as they used to be. Even back in 1999, when the Star Wars Special Editions came out, their cups were nice and re-usable. Then something happened, and they got cheaper.

My wife made me throw away my old 7-11 Marvel cups years ago...

For some reason, she wasn't impressed...
