Cruises...
My girl is taking me on a cruise for our 1 yr anniv. in Feb... but She wants me to plan and price everything for her... I was just pricing Royal Caribbean and for 2 its anywhere from $2000 (Interior) - $3000 (Oceanview) and it leaves from Jersey... so no flight needed...  Do any of you have any hook ups for a brother?

Sorry, no hook ups, but I just wanted to let you know that Royal Caribbean is a good choice of cruise line. I've been on two cruises with them in the western caribbean and had a blast each time. Which ports of call are you looking to go to?

Wow a thirteen day cruise! Sounds like fun. I'm planning a 7 day cruise for next summer in which we fly from San Antonio to San Juan PR and hit several of those same destinations. I can't wait!!
CK, be sure to look at the shore excursions that RC shows on their website. I've done several of them (in different ports than the ones you listed though) and enjoyed them all.

BTW, if you can afford it, definitely go with a balcony room. Both times I went, my son and I had an interior stateroom and let me tell you, there's not much room in them. My brother and his family went with us as well, but they had a room with a balcony. It was much nicer! I'm going with a balcony suite next time we go.

make sure you have your credit cards with you.the boat doesnt take cash.everything gets billed to the room so youll need a cc thats not maxed out yet.only time cash is used is when u go to the islands and at the casino.
