Question about Michael Turner Supergirl

Hey guys

I have the Supergirl by Michael Turner and instead of a number from 1 - 2500 I have R2/168/2500.
Comes in the original box as well as the certificate with the same number on it as well.

Does anyone no what this is? The guy i bought it from says its an Artist Proof.

I'm not sure if that's an artist proof or not, but mine just has a regular number on the bottom of the base. No R2 anywhere, so yours could be an artist proof.

a lot of the supergirls were broken in transit due to the brittleness of some of the pieces. The statues that were sent back for credit by diamond were reissued by DC Direct and the new statues that replaced the older statues, have that numbering on them.

yeah I thought the exact same thing. I think your statue is a repair which is what the R stands for

I'm 99% sure it's a repaired piece. A LCS here in Philly had one of the same types and the owner told me it was repaired.
