Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Heroes of the DCU bust line

Officially launched for an April 22nd 2009 release.

"DESIGNED BY CARLOS PACHECO; SCULPTED BY JEAN ST. JEAN

Green Lantern kicks off the new, ongoing HEROES OF THE DC UNIVERSE bust series in a blaze of emerald light! Designed to complement the wildly popular Women of the DC Universe bust line, this new collection features heroes such as Batman and Aquaman, as well as Darkseid and other villains!

Designed by best-selling artist Carlos Pacheco, Hal Jordan ignites the force of his power ring atop a lantern-shaped base."

I know there was a lot of doom and gloom when this was first sneak peeked, saying the line wouldn't last.
But I, for one, welcome the line. Can't wait for a Darkseid!

Heroes of the DCU, with Darkseid and other villains? Why don't they call it characters of the DCU, much more appropriate...

They'll have another line called villians of the DCU?
I find the scale too small, one of the main reasons i don't collect it.

I think this is a good start. However, if they continue to keep to one artists style they will look a bit awckward together IMO. While a Dodson, Hughes and Pacheco might work together, throw in a McGuinness or Kubert and I think it will throw it off.

I'm not getting sucked into another bust line when DC Direct couldn't finish the FIRST line.
