Killzone 2 or Resident Evil 5?

I recently took back Halo Wars and received a $50 credit. I was thinking of picking up RE 5 for the PS3, but then I've heard a lot of good things about Killzone 2. I like FPS games as well as the survival horror... Any suggestions?
Thanks

Both is too easy an answer right? :-)

I have Killzone 2, and it is awesome, though the single player is short (but great).

I havent gotten into multiplayer yet, but thats supposedly where the meat is for the game, if thats what you plan on buying it for more, thats probably going to last longer than Resident Evil's multiplayer co-op.

Im hoping Res 5 arrives today. I cant wait to play the game despite some of the negative revies and issues (that it doesnt really work as a single player game because of the poor AI in Sheva, and the old school controls etc).

Having said that, apparently DLC is already coming for extra online modes for Res 5 - whether you want to do that, or get frustrated that they are charging for extra modes that they obviously could have put into the game itself, its all things to consider.

For me, Im getting both - I cant really think of anything else worth buying for a while this year, nothing glaringly obvious on the radar.

Killzone 2
Great graphics, great AI
Great game but campaign is a little short as are most FPS these days.
Just getting into online and it rocks. Massive maps and decent weather too.
There are great sand storm effects on one of my fave maps

Colossal you gotta try it

Why did you take back Halo Wars? Was thinking of picking it up and just want to make sure I don't waste the money.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm most likely going to get RE 5, then pick up Killzone 2 after. It looks too cool to pass up.
I took Halo Wars back because I was expecting more. I just felt that graphically it was terrible, and controlling all the units was a pain on the xbox. I loved StarCraft, and it wasn't as fun as that. And for a Halo game...it just takes you right off the battlefield. And when playing Halo, that's where you belong.

Good enough explaination for me. May pick it up when it is dirt cheap.

Killzone 2. And good move on dumping Halo Wars...that game is a cash grab by MS to cash in on Halo's popularity.

It's a bummer. I really wanted to like Halo Wars. The cut scenes looked good.

How does Killzone 2 compare to Resistance2? (I really enjoyed those ones as well, and the PSP version comes out soon)

I enjoyed Res 2 quite a bit, but Killzone 2 kills it. Just a great, great game.
