Colossus vs The Thing

A fight of the medium powerhouses, these are above the rest and below the best but who comes out ontop?

Colossus: Pitor Rasputin, the Armored Armeggedon! the strong guy of the X-Men. He's had training from Wolverine himself and has had alot of experiance in the danger room, he took a 110 millimeter Howitzer shell and didn't bat an eyelid.

The Thing: Benjamin J. Grimm, the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing! the strong guy of FF. He originally started lifting only 5 tonnes and now is around the 100 ton mark and getting stronger, he has stood toe to toe with the hulk and has lived to tell the tale.

Nothing pretty in this fight, an all out brawl. Have fun

R

The only way that I could see this ending is with the fight going on for so long that Piotr eventually passes out through exhaustion and reverts back to his human form.

As Ben can't revert back to a human form this is the only advantage that I can see between these two.

The winner? - The fans!!!!!!

I don't actually think that Colossus gets tired in his armored from, though his upper limits of maintaining it have never really been tested. Assuming that he can remain armored pretty much indefinitely, I think what we have here would be a Rock-Paper-Organic Steel match of biblical proportions. Sit back and relax, this could take a while.

Purely for personal character preference, I got the Russkie.

In terms of strength, speed and durability both seem to be fairly evenly matched.

I would give Colossus the endurance advantage, while I would expect Ben to be more determined and perhaps the superior fighter.

My call, and it's a close one, the Thing wins.

Just for sentimental reasons.

Very tough question.

I can't think of a thing that gives one or the other an advantage here, really.
