Which makes sense to me as stated why do you need a second base if not?

Stranger things have happened in Statue World.
I hope the cape is made of cheap, crappy fabric to mimic the production values of the show.

Just a guess but they sculpted the skirt so my guess is sculpted cape. otherwise just include the fabric cape with the ex now.

Well either way, EX or not I'll be getting one of these. The sculpt is one of the best I've ever seen for a licensed piece based on an actress. If I'm not happy with the paint then WW will be my first custom painted statue. She would be worth the extra cost.

Yeah, already been stated, I cannot remember where now, that it would be a sculpted cape.

HEADGATE IS OFFICIALLY over. I emailed chad and his response is as follows
This Maquette comes with two sets of legs. For everyone that orders the exclusive, you will get first dibs on buying just the new head/torso and cape and base. This way, you can make two totally complete WW Maquettes without any spare parts.
I asked for a smiling head version he answered :
We tried a smiling version but it didn’t work. Hard to explain…just didn’t ever look right.
Lastly asked about scuplted cape official answer:
OH, because of the way the cape is sculpted, we had to attach it to a new torso and head
Everyone tune in on Monday for FULL REVEAL

I usually get emails from them when preorders go live, but I didn't get one for this.

Woohoo! So not only was I right weeks ago about how difficult and possibly odd looking it would be to just add the cape as a separate piece (glad they went this way), but I don't have to buy two of these now. Haha! What a great idea Tweeterhead!
Not that I would've bought two anyway. The thought would've just eaten at me some.

You should buy two of the EX and two of the accessories pack so that you can have four statues.
