Hands Are Not Too Big
It has come to my attention that some think Seth tends to make the hands on his sculpture too big. Well, just to let you all know, they are in perfect scale with the rest of the sculpture. I have Subby, Hawkeye(of which is mentioned the most) and Thor, and all seem to be perfect. Try this people: open the palm of your hand and see if you could palm all or most of your face. Well, that is normal and most get thrown off because the PICTURES make the hands bigger than they appear. Look at your Bowen statues and compare them to HH statues and you will all come to the same conclusion that they can all palm their own heads, and that includes small characters such as Vision, Black Panther, and bigger characters like Thanos and Juggernaut, although his hands to me seem just a wee bit bigger than they should be. Anyways, don't be judgemental because of pics and the angle of the pics, because clearly, that is misconstrued. HH's depiction of hands is right on the money. Nuff Said!!

Can't say I noticed anything about the hands on Subby. They appear to be the right size to me

The hands are bigger than what they are supposed to be for the scale of the statue. Even the sculptor Seth Vandable has come on this forum and said that he likes to sculpt big hands, so there really is no debate about it.

"As for the big hands on Hawk. Thats just how Buscema and others drew hands, adds power, though there is some illusion going on because the hands are closer to the camera. I like big hands....www.vandablesculpture.com" - Seth Vandable

All I know is Seth is one of my favorite sculptors and I love the Hard Hero line.
Rob and Seth I know there`s been some drama about your statues and I hope that doesn`t keep you guys away from the forum I for one love every piece you guys have put out and i`d like to leave you guys with some words of wisdom.
As J.R. Ewing said i`ll never let those bastards get me down.

Zzzzing!
Seriously, Seth is among the best in the industry. Absolutely no question that the proportions of the hands are freaking perfect. I have his HH Conan and Red Sonja, and they're simply amazing. Now if I could only get him to sign them, I could die a happy man.

Anyone who nitpicks about the hand size of these statues is nothing but a hater in my book. The Marvel license is in good hands with Rob and Seth.

I think most issues about hands are brought up from pics alone. I'm probably wrong, but I think the members who complain about the size have never seen an HH statue in person.
