And you're absolutely right about how special it is to own original cover art. I was lucky enough to track down my favorite two New X-Men covers, and they are complete treasures to me. It's so great to own the only piece in the whole world!
Thanks Rilynil. Your'e never too late for a thread post. Your'e well aware of how cool it feels to get a cover you really want. I've spent a good amount of time today just staring at it LOL.

congrates on picking up such a cool cover; comic art is great but there is something special about a cover.

congrat Snappa...Ron Frenz is awesome. did you check http://www.catskillcomics.com/ this is Ron Frenz's dealer. they are a pleasure to deal with. I own Frenz's original cover pre-lims to X-Factor 5 and 6, the first appearance of Apocalypse.

Great cover Snap! I loved the Thunderstrike comics and the art was giving it some kind of old-school feel to it (for me)
And I don't know who the guy(s) at fanfare just robbed, but the Thor-themed pages come flooding in! Like it's from one Thor fan who sold all his original stuff.

thanks Car50n. Yeah, I've been over to their site a few times. In the case of Ron, I had a pretty specific idea of what I wanted. Thor or Thunderstrike art..I was lucky enough to get a little of both

Preciate it, Leon..yeah, I was watching Fanfare cause all of these Frenz Thor pieces were popping up. I knew this cover had to be mine when he put it up..I'm just surprised it was still there since I wasn't able to inquire for a while after he'd posted it. Maybe I'm the only one who wanted it LOL. He's also got a cool future Thor splash. I thought about that one, but the cover was an easy choice.

Yeah, they had a Thor head-sketch by Mark Texeira, really beautifull but it was gone after a day or so....
