Sad News
Soccers fans will be saddened to hear that Antonio Puerta one of the stars for Sevilla F.C. passed away yesterday. I don´t have all the details but apparently he had some sort of hereditary heart condition and it might have been triggered by some injury he received during a game. He was an extremely talented and well loved player here in Spain and especially in Sevilla. Saddest of all, he was cut down in his prime at the very young age of 22. We were in Sevilla last night and drove past the soccer stadium and saw an amazing sight. It must have been about 1:30 in the morning and there were over 25,000 people outside the stadium. His body had been brought to the stadium to lay in rest and the people were lined up waiting to pay their respects.
