the last battlechaser...
o.k. i am new to the site. i have been browsing everyones creations and reading all of the threads on starting a statue from the ground up for a couple months now. i am not new to art i have messed around with scupey before, i am fairly accopmlished at several other non 3-d mediums... but i love a challenge so... heres my idea, i love joe mad! been following his art work since high school(and that was when he started working on x-men) and i want to make a statue of gully from b.c. grown up, and even though the series was never completed, i want to depict her as the last battle chaser, giving her garison's sword, knolan's staff, and some of the golem's armor, aside from her father's gloves... just beginning to flesh out concept any suggestions would be welcome.

ok... i know i have no pics so i might not get a response but, i finished the armature, i used plumbers epoxy to harden the skeleton on most parts, anyone familiar with the character knows that the large jewels in the gloves glow with power, so any tips on making them light up? maybe thats a bit advanced for my first scuplt but i seriously want this to be the best it can, i promise to borrow a friends digital cam and post some wips today or tomorrow.

I agree. Without any pics it would be hard to say. It is really hard to comment on an invisible sculpt
Your concept sounds cool
Hurry up & post some pics!
Oh. One thing. I see you will be sculpting her as a grown-up. DO NOT give her Joe Mad's trademark HUMUNGOUS boobs!

Hey madd,
Just a FYI. This is the how to/Q&A section for sculptors. You should start a thread in the Sculptor's Corner when you post the pics. That is where all the WIPs & finished pieces are shown.
