Shipping Weight of Alien box?
Hey guys,
Does anyone happen to know or can check their alien box and let me know what the shipping weight is?
I may be selling my Alien and I am trying to calculate shipping costs. I know the box probably has to weigh in the 60-70 pound range. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also if you know the Aragorn weight also that would be a big help as well.
Thanks in advance.

Hahahaha! Ya I have to make serious decisions on how I want my collection to go. I dont even have my Alien displayed right now because I do not have the room right now. I have some cool stuff planned for my movie collection so I may need to free up some room and cash. This is not definate yet I am just thinking about it.
So 65 lbs huh? Wow that beast is heavy.
Thanks.

can I weigh in (no pun) here stretch?
You were probably THE most excited person on here when you were ordering your CM's. We all followed the trials and tribulations of your attempts to get some perfect pieces... and now, you are selling up...
I know how you feel in a way. CM's are big, and take up tons of space. But I am the opposite. I am thinking of offloading all my other statues just to collect CM's. I mean just look at that PREDATOR - who doesn't want that in their house?! My Bowen FF statues are up on ebay at the moment (somethingI thought I would never see happen) and heck I am even thinking of getting rid of my SS Dr Doom PF Exc and Iron Man Comiquette...
I know how priorities change, but really, with these CM's THINK ABOUT IT. These are very, very limited. Not even a thousand of each, and they will be very hard to get hold of once the contiuos production stops. Consider also the fact that:
1) you won't get what you paid for them
2) the headache you are going to have if they are damaged in transit... think of the problem you had dealing direct with CM and multiply it be a factor of 10,000.
Let us know what you decide.

Jet Force,
All good points taken. Although the multiply by 10,000 factor might be a bit off
Buyers will understand that helping with replacements is out of my hands.
I am planning on keeping my 800 and 850. The Alien is just too damn big. I will pass on the preddy probably. That thing will be a monster in size. And really....I dont want to wait 2 years for it.
I collect other things as well so its really not a big deal to me. Ya I was happy when I got them. But to be completely honest.......I do not want to go through the whole replacement thing if I order more and they come damaged. What a big pain in the butt that was. It kind of turned me off to the CM's.
Plus my new pieces will be much rarer then CM's. 1/1's not 1/1000....
I am probably going to move to collect custom 1:1 busts. Smaller and very limited.

I think it all depends of each person. I don't blame Stretch at all because space is something we all have to deal sometimes, and besides as he is saying who knows what other interesting pieces he can start getting, for example look at Cap's collection even if he had to make some cuts (including CM) in order to focus more on 1:1 pieces it is one of the most incredible collections I have seen .
I saw that you are already selling both CM on eBay Strechy but I am more in awe about how much you got for some of those GI Joe soldiers!!!!
You definitely have a great thing going on!

Interests change, that's natural. And a good presentation, at least for me, is very important to really join your collectibles. If you got the space to show them in a nice way, they are much more attractive.
I'm glad i had the opportunity to get a CM Alien now.
Cause in switzerland it's very difficult to get a mint CM piece.
Hope this beast will arrive in good condition.
