Least messiest way to control your PS3 is to pick up a BluWave remote by Nyko. They're about $20. The remote comes with an IR dongle that plugs into the USB port of the PS3. When you buy the Harmony DON'T use the PS3 device on the web set-up, but instead look for the Nyko BluWave and add that as a device.

I have the Nyko remote and it works great for basic bluray functions. However, there is no power button (the workaround posted doesn't have a power buton either though).
