Sure wish I could see a visual of Clay giving a lesson in sculpting.

I was at Phillycon this past weekend.

Here is my sad little tale.

Once upon a time I had pre-ordered the Magdalena statue from a markfcg (If I'd only googled then what I'd googled now). That never worked out.

So I go to wizardworld and the Moore booth has the Magdalena statue. I was all set to grab it but my wife had to see Kevin Nash now! So she dragged me over to the autograph area. I finish there come back and Magdalena is GONE!

I was standing there at the Moore booth and I felt like I was on the deck of the S.S. Poseidon as a tidal wave bore down on me. I was helpless to do anything, not even Gene Hackman could save me. You're going the wrong way!

Oh cruel world! It appears the fates have decreed that I shall never obtain that statue.

And to make matters worse, the Liberty Brewhouse is gone! Gone! I couldn't even drown my sorrows in a hearty micro-brewed beer.

On the gossamer strings of hope are our dreams born. The cold rocks of Poseidon's sea dash them.

I went. Forgot to bring somthing for him to sign though.
It was cool seeing his work in person. I've never seen the Magdalena up close and I must say it's a beautiful piece as are all of his pieces.
I wish he could get the Marvel license or start making some characters that I'm familiar with from Image.
