If you can find some AlcladII Chrome, that's one way to go. I've heard that someone in the foruns was using duplicolor chrome sray can, although I never us it myself.

Btw, if you go with the AlcladII you need to have some atention to the way you lay down the paint.

In my point of view you can't achieve the chrome effect that Randy delivers to his statues. It's just a diferent process that he uses.

To use the Alclad just paint the statue Enamel Black, then lay around 2 thin layers of alclad chrome, apllied with low pressure airbrushing. But again just my 2 cents.

If you try a bit harder you may even find some other posts in SF with examples of statues painted with Alclad, and some hints on how to use it.

Best of luck

This is actually the wrong forum for painting advice. Do a search on chrome or metallic finishes and Alclad II.

thanks guys for your advice. I been testing out some paints and different methods to getting that chrome finish. I did a panther and a silver surfer so far.

Well, I used Alclad II on the panther, and on the surfer I used killer chrome kit from alsa corp witch is really closer to chrome.
