Jesus Christ. I'm so tired of seeing women with their breasts shoved forward on comic covers, in magazines, in statues, and in toys. I understand that straight men between the ages of 18 and 34 are the primary market, but surely GOD someone up there realizes that a good third of the comic buying public is made up of girls and gay men who have NO INTEREST in seeing that stuff?
I'm unsure as to what Quesada and DiDio think it is we want to see. Actually, that's wrong. I'm certain that they don't give a crap, and only approve stuff they can masturbate feverishly to in their offices when everyone's done for the day.

Hey Mike, that's ok. We're going back and forth between threads. Need to get the other one finished first.

Plus.. they have "on-lookers".
This'll fly off the stands, no doubt. Unless it's already been released, which is my guess.

It is over the line............even by my standards.

Heroes for Hire #13 came out while I still bought books a little over a year ago. The cover accomplished what they set out to do....'nuff said. Now shut up and finish the other thread!

I read all that you wrote, by the way.

One of the items I threw into my bro-in-law's "bachelor basket" (which I gave to him a couple days before he married my sister) was anime porn that I bought from a comic book store.. he's who introduced me to statue-collecting/Statue Forum, and re-introduced me to comics.. so I thought it'd be a fun gag gift to toss in. I guess I should've known how horrific/graphic the anime would have been when the owner of the store suggested it for the adult content.. I have never watched anything of that sort, myelf. The closest would be a "Ghost in the Shell:SAC" episode where Motoko sleeps only in her chonies next to a teenager she's protecting, and he asks if he can have sex with her, which she declines.
("Ghost in the Shell: SAC" isn't a sexual show.. ).
.. anyways.. my bro-in-law told me he watched five minutes, then threw it away. Obviously it was pretty graphic.
I understand how a market for that stuff stays afloat, but seriously... sick individuals produce that sh!t.
